In the course of their vital activities, cattle produce waste that accumulates in the form of feces, urine, steam, etc., which under certain conditions can cause significant damage to nature. Modern technologies for the production of livestock products make it possible to reduce significantly the risks of environmental pollution, but for this it is necessary to adapt these technologies to specific production conditions in the most rational way, depending on the natural and climatic conditions [1, 2]. A dairy farm with 500 cows of average productivity emits more than 3 tons of carbon dioxide, almost 5 tons of water vapor, a significant amount of ammonia and other gases into the atmosphere every day, produces about 20 tons of sewage and about 30 tons of excrement [3]. Therefore, the existing acute problem of reducing environmental pollution by animal husbandry waste forces us to look for ways of more rational disposal and effective use of manure and effluents from dairy farms and complexes [4, 5]. The purpose of our researches was to study the impact of different options for removal, storage and processing of manure on the environment, indicators of the content of chemical compounds in the catchment basin of the farm and the qualitative composition of organic fertilizer.
