The application of microbial plant biostimulants (MPB) is a sustainable approach to promote crop growth and tolerance under water deficit conditions. MPBs enhance drought stress resistance by releasing various phytohormones, volatile organic compounds, diverse exopolysaccharides, and ACC-deaminase, thereby modulating osmolytes, stress-responsive genes expression, and enhancing modifications in root structure [1, 2].

Our study aimed to evaluate the effects of microbiological products, based on plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) and their metabolites, on drought plant resistance and antioxidant potential in maize.
